No Struggle No Progress
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes to nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will."-Quite from Frederick Douglas. So we approach another round of warfare with the coronavirus seeking to take our lives. So too, we need to stay vigilant against the war that we impose on each other in our black and brown communities. I know it ain't what we want to hear but it's what we need to know in order to win this lopsided war we've waged against ourselves. Time to struggle the right way. To all my young bros holding it up out there, keep me posted and stay focused. One!
